I have grown so much during the last few years, personally and professionally, building the path to where I always visualized Gaia Soul would be as a brand.
Our new branding is not just a new logo, it is a sign of more profound changes. It forges our commitment with the Earth, working towards a more sustainable brand. It defines the beautiful women community that grew up with us and has become our brand essence.
From the first moment Gaia Soul was born, it was more than just a brand for sandals or shoes.
I was born in Spain and lived most of my life there but when I was 23 I decided to move across the world and the place I chose as my new home was Byron Bay.
Travelling always brings new ideas and new ways to see life.
It was around that time when the idea of creating a brand for women's shoes first came to my head and as a traveller myself I found a lack of good products that actually fit my needs.
My ethics were and have always been along the same lines, I wanted my products to be the best quality they could possibly be and friendly to our environment.
Seeing how Gaia contributes to making this world a better world is my first and most desired goal.
Our Eco leather is hand-made in Spain by amazing artisans and the process it goes through from the moment it is designed to the moment it gets delivered to your hands it is thought to be as sustainable as possible.

When I see myself then, starting a small business as a young woman I feel nothing but pride and joy of having come this far in such a short time.
Like me, this brand has grown and become a more mature and elegant version of myself and I am happy to share it with you today.
The reason I am doing this rebranding is to remind myself and everyone who believes in my products that change is the only constant in our lives. We are constantly changing, growing, and becoming a better version of ourselves and Gaia is no different.
Even though our core remains the same adventurous fun and active woman, the exterior is slowly shifting into a more confident and elegant presence. Every day that goes by we feel more comfortable in our own skin.
The connection this new, updated woman has with mother earth is as strong as the connection she has with herself as a creator and an artist.
Our feet are the guides to our paths in life and we never know where they might take us. I certainly didn't know they would take me to the other side of the world and lead me to create something that is in tune with my core beliefs.
Because doing a re-branding can be a hard process, it won't be done overnight. We won't discard our current shoes or boxes because they have our previous logo. Overproduction and waste is big deal in the world of fashion and we certainly don't want to be a part of it.
This is why we will continue to sell the stock that's in our hands now and slowly transition into the new brand.
We feel ready to be the best version of ourselves and share it with you, and we know you will love it as much as we do.
